For teams that need to know what their automation is really doing.
Assay is built for identity, security, engineering and audit teams who inherit workflows faster than they can document them. We start with the exported estate, assess it locally, and turn the result into evidence people can use.
Workflow inventory, dependency context, architecture, error handling, logging, security and governance findings.
No tenant connection is required for the assessment workflow. The first step is simply understanding the exported estate.
Who Assay is for
Different teams. One underlying problem.
“Can we explain this automation?”
Understand how production identity workflows behave, where they call other workflows, and where ownership or logic is unclear.
“What could fail quietly?”
Surface external calls without adequate failure paths, sensitive values in exported definitions, and resilience gaps worth reviewing.
“Where is the evidence?”
Move from screenshots and interviews toward a dated assessment record with explicit scope, evidence and methodology.
“What changes if we touch this?”
Use dependency and blast-radius views to understand shared workflow relationships before changing a component.
“Can a new team take this over?”
Use readable workflow logic and estate-level documentation to reduce dependence on one engineer's memory.
“Should we trust the automation?”
Get a measured summary of where attention is needed rather than a generic health score disconnected from evidence.
What we are not going to do
We will not invent customer proof we do not have.
No logo wall before there are customers.
We are deliberately not presenting invented customer names, logos, testimonials or outcome percentages. When customers consent to public references, this page can grow around real evidence.
Early access is a feature, not an apology.
Our current goal is to work closely with a small number of design partners, learn where the assessment creates the most value, and turn those lessons into repeatable product capability.
Customer stories will be evidence-led.
Future stories should show the estate context, what surprised the team, what Assay found, and what changed — with customer approval and clear boundaries around sensitive information.
Ask us to prove the product.
Bring an exported estate. We can show the workflow inventory, scope, dependency picture and assessment experience before asking you to rely on a marketing claim.
Design partner programme
Be one of the first estates we learn from.
We are looking for organizations willing to run a real workflow estate through Assay, challenge the findings, and help us make the assurance standard stronger. This is not a public case study requirement; the first goal is product learning.
